Children are given many opportunities to enrich their learning in and out of the classroom. We embrace new experiences and actively build links with local institutions and organisations. For example, we have established a close link with the Royal Court Theatre, The Victoria and Albert Museum and Cadogan Estate where the children have had opportunities to write scripts, create art work to be displayed in the museum and plant bulbs for an environmental project.
As our children move up through the school, they have opportunities to have art lessons with a specialist teacher in an art-studio, swimming lessons at Chelsea Pool and to go horse riding in Hyde Park.
Teachers regularly organise visits around London and further afield. In Year Six, every child has the opportunity to attend a week-long visit to an off-site adventure centre to build skills of independence and confidence.
Visitors come into to school often to share skills, experience and knowledge which will helps to broaden the children’s understanding of the world around them. If you feel you can help to bring our curriculum alive, please contact the Senior Leadership Team or your child’s class teacher.
