Our Ethos

Our Mission Statement:

Holy Trinity CofE Primary School is dedicated to providing a nurturing Christian environment in which all children have the opportunity to reach their maximum academic and social potential.  This is through the most effective teaching, learning and relationships.

A core desire for education was declared by the Church of England in its ‘Vision for Education’ document July 2016 as ‘Education for fullness of life’ John 10:10.

For an education which ‘seeks to educate the whole child seeing spiritual, moral, social and cultural development integrated with physical and intellectual development at the heart of human flourishing’.

To this end Holy Trinity CofE Primary School strives to instil positive attributes and dispositions that allow our community to thrive.  We focus our attention on a core set of ethical virtues; Love, Peace, Wisdom, Generosity, Patience and Fortitude.  These virtues underpin our whole school ethos, curriculum and school life with the aim of ensuring that pupils develop essential characteristics and leave Holy Trinity as happy, fulfilled, secure, caring and responsible citizens.
